One of the purposes is to seethe church become all God intends.GIFT OF PROPHECYInspired words given to encourage, edify and comfort people. It isnot directive, corrective and it's aim is to bless and give glory tothe Lord. many people will experience this for a given time andpurpose. A gift given.PROPHETIC MINISTRY Continued use and development of the gift will move one in thedirection of a ministry rather than an occasional use of the gift.It means moving into different levels of believing for more specificand revelatory words.A gift given developed by reason of use and maturity.OFFICE OF THE PROPHETPerspective is one of the Kingdom and the preparation of the Bride ofChrist in holiness. Prophets will not only speak to churches, butcities, areas, regions and nations. They also speak to those inauthority.Prophets will speak in areas of guidance, instruction, direction,correction, judgment and revelation .Prophets declare and proclaim.Call by God as an extension of the ministry of Jesus and a gift givento the church to equip the saints for the work of the ministry.And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some asevangelist, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping ofthe saints for the work of service, to the building up of the Body ofChrist, until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of theknowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of thestature which belongs to the fullness of Christ. Eph. 4: 11-13
